Jetzt ist es offiziell, die nächste Expansion heisst "Ebony Kingdom" und wird am 27 Mai 2009 erscheinen.

Ebony Kingdom

White Wolf's sixteenth expansion for Vampire: The Eternal Struggle is a boosters-only set entitled Ebony Kingdom, and it revisits the Legacies (clans) of the African continent.

Each booster pack contains 11 all-new cards randomly selected from a set of 60 cards consisting of 20 rares, 20 vampires, and 20 commons.

Launch Event

White Wolf has scheduled the weekend of May 30th for the Ebony Kingdom Launch Event.

Remnant of the Endless Storm
Ally
Unique werewolf with 5 life. 1 strength, 0 bleed. Requires a magaji.
The Remnant gets +1 strength for each life it has. The Remnant may enter combat with any minion as a (D) action. If any effect does more than 2 damage to the Remnant, ignore the excess. If the Remnant has 4 or fewer life during your untap phase, it gains 1 life from the blood bank.

Requires a Laibon with three or more Aye.
Only usable before range is determined. Set the range for this round. Skip the determine range step this round.
DRAFT: As above, but requires only two Aye.

Guinea-Bissau Carnival
Master
Put this card in play. Each Laibon gets +X stealth when hunting and gains X+1 additional blood from the bank if succesful, where X is the number of Aye he or she has. Burn this card during your next untap phase. Only one Guinea-Bissau Carnival may be played in a game.

Ich bin mal auf die Advancements von Cesewayo und Kami wah Ithero gespannt, die waren so schon ziemlich übel....

Der Werwolf ist zwar sauteuer, kann aber nicht so einfach totgeschlagen werden, ich werde ihn dann wohl mal im Petaniqua Deck austesten...

Aber klingt bisher wirklich gut....

Das "Kleingedruckte" finde ich irgendwie nicht sooo prickelnd. Es werden Gruppe 5 Vampire dabei sein. :?
Momentan ist ist die Aufteilung bei allen 4 Clans so: 2 aus Gruppe 3 und 9 aus Gruppe 4.
Zumindest einer wird jetzt pro Clan aus Gruppe 5 sein. D.h. maximal 4 neue für die Gruppe 4, also hat man nach diesem Set eine Auswahl von 15 Vampiren für G3/4 (bestenfalls).
Das ist, verglichen mit den Standard-Clans, recht wenig, denn bereits Jyhad brachte diese 15 verschiedenen Vampire pro Clan (in einer einzigen Gruppe), und die Inependents (abgesehen jetzt von G3), haben ebenfalls eine viel größere Auswahl für abgeschlossene Gruppen-Paar.

Ich bin trotzdem auf das Set gespannt, aber dieses eine Detail wäre echt nicht notwendig gewesen. G5 hätte noch ein wenig auf sich warten können... :twisted:

Ja, bei dem Undele (Ishtarri magaji) hätte ich es auch lieber gesehen wenn er G4 gewesen wäre, so müßte ich Falhu Shibaba rausnehmen, da beide nicht zusammen spielbar sind, ich hätte lieber andere Vampire ersetzt....

Aber mal abwarten, bis alles bekannt ist....

Naja also wenn alle neuen Vampire so zünftig sind wie die da oben, dann braucht man keine Lückenfüller. Lieber ein paar gut designte und spielbare Vampire, als die meisten zum Nischendasein zu verdammen. ;)

Das mit Gruppe 5 ist insofern nicht so verkehrt, dass nicht jede Crypt gleich aussieht und man sich etwas entscheiden muss. Zudem kann man den ein oder anderen Laibon ja auch ganz gut in Decks anderer Clans einsetzen, also mal abwarten.

Seh ich genauso. Immer diese Rumweinerei das man nicht alles mit allem zusammen spielen kann furchtbar. Ich denke man wird sich dabei im Sinne des Balancing was gedacht haben.

LSJ sicherlich, zum Beispiel das man nicht 4 Magaji von einem Clan zusammen spielen können sollte oder so. Aber unser Wiener Freund muß halt mal wieder rumweinen. Da er das ständig macht und auf eine Art und Weise die mir auf den Keks geht ignoriere ich seine Posts eigentlich mitlerweile. Wer das Spiel Scheiße findet soll es besser machen oder aufhören.
Hab bei Weightwatcher angerufen, hat aber keiner abgenommen.

Jetzt mal immer mit der Ruhe...

Man kann ja schließlich eine Sache gut finden und trotzdem Aspekte kritisieren. Sehe das ganze zwar ähnlich wie Lukas, aber es müssen ja nich alle einer Meinung sein.

Dafür das vor kurzen noch im großen Stil mehr Spieletikette angemahnt hast, haust du hier immer ganz schön gehörig auf die Kacke! Finde die Wortwahl mehr als unglücklich.
