"Outside the Hourglass" und >range< im Kampf

Die Diskussion ist momentan so weit wie u.a.:

to this:

would be enough. Pulled Fangs would follow the same pattern.

Wobei man sagen muss, dass da noch einige Punkte geklärt werden müssen. Vor allem wegen Fear of the Void Below. Pascal scheint da selbst noch etwas zu schwimmen. Interessante Diskussion jedenfalls.

Also, jetzt ist es offiziell. Disarm (und Pulled Fangs) funktionieren nur, wenn die Range des Kampfes "close" ist. Sollte also nach der Outside the Hourglass die range auf long gesetzt werden (womit, wann und wie auch immer), können diese Karten nicht gespielt werden.

This should answer all the questions:

* Set range to long + OtH : Disarm can't be played (as range is set to long)
* OtH + set range to long : Disarm can't be played (as range is set to long)
* Fear of the Void Below + OtH + set range to close: range can be played (as range is set to close at the end of the round).

Das macht ja auch rollenspieltechnisch Sinn. Ein Manöver im Kampf zu spielen heißt ja nicht, dass beide Vampire voreinander stehen und einer wegrennt, sondern dass der Kampf schon beginnt, bevor die beiden beieinander sind. Es rennt ja keiner mit einer Sniper Rifle oder einer .44 auf das Hochhausdach und schießt erst dann, sondern bevor der andere nah rankommt. Daher war das Armausreißen Schwachsinn, wenn die range des Kampfes nicht close ist. Natürlich kann man mit zwei OtH erst Schaden verursachen und dann ein maneuver generieren. Macht die Sache halt kartenintensiver.

Schwachsinn hin, Schwachsinn her ... ich bin einfach zufrieden damit, dass der Klärungsbedarf der nur scheinbar eindeutigen Kartentexte erkannt und in der Folge eine sinnvolle Lösung gefunden wurde -- und das, bevor es auf einem Turnier deswegen womöglich noch Knatsch gegeben hätte ...
