I've been having some fun with my old corruption deck recently, and realised I never posted it here. I've just been making some modifications to add in a few older cards, so here's v1.something and v2 :)

(both decks look very master-heavy, but the Serpentis masters can be discarded or used as "action modifiers" when recruiting weenies, and anthelios allows them to be traded for e.g. tribute)

Description :
v2 features the g4/5 vampires instead of the g2/3 of the original design, with roughly the same spread of capacities and ser/SER. This gives some access to dominate, and I've added 3x poison pill after losing 19 pool to cross-table anarchist uprisings in one game!

This version concentrates (even more) on the corrupt & bleed offence, and neglects obfuscate entirely. Without the extra stealth, temptation and FoC become less easy to get past the predator, so they have been replaced with the new "The Eternal Mask" for +1 bleed at +1 stealth. The superior version has great synergy with Khobar Towers too, if I get the opportunity!

Without temptations, the associated masters (Heidelberg, croc temple and retribution) can also be dropped to make room for other things.

What about Cave of Apples?

Sure it costs 3 pool, but you don't need any Corruption cards then and cut just cut one down for it.

But it works only on younger Vampires, that can be a Problem....

Und Allies und hat kein Stealth. Aber irgendwie finde ich es trotzdem gut :P

16 corruption auf 90 Karten sind zu wenige. Ich kenne vergleichbare Decks mit 50/50 Corruptions

Ich finde die Karte "komisch". Man kann sich nicht unbedingt drauf verlassen, da man ja wohl keine 10 in ein Deck packt. Das heisst man wird mit ausreichend Corruptions spielen. Dann ist die Karte aber eine Master für 3 pool die was macht was das Deck eh schon kann. Nicht so der Bringer, finde ich.

Als One off finde ich sie ganz plausibel

I considered Cave of Apples, but it just doesn't fit into the deck. Under too many circumstances it uses a valuable discard phase so as to avoid it becoming a waste of both a valuable master action and 3 pool. I usually expect to have approx 8-10 minions by endgame, with an average cap of 3 (the waters bring down the avg from of those in the crypt)

16 corruptions (+10 venenations) isn't enough to steal all the minions on the table, but that's not the goal of the deck. It is enough to steal the occasional vampire to feed to the towers for survival whilst your horde grows and bleeds for 5 at stealth, though. ;)

This deck can cycle hideously fast though, it's easily the deck I'm most likely to run out of cards with (except for an experiment with mata hari and burn options which doesn't really count) so I might reduce the reactions from 8 down to 6... but I'd probably replace the two forgotten labyrinth rather than add more corruptions. Or maybe a parthenon.
