bei amazon.com gibt es die ersten weiteren Infos über das Ende des Jahres kommende VTES-Set.

Laut Amazon wird es diese vier Starter geben:

Und bevor jemand fragt, kopiere ich hier eine schöne Post aus der Newsgroup her, die eine Zusammenfassung von Infos aus dem V:tM-Buch zum Thema gibt und dazu einige Spekulationen enthält.

Being above-stated friend, let me share my thoughts on how the Kindred
of the Ebony Kingdom could be translated into VTES (and pretty much
what i m working with for a custom expansion).

First and foremost, Laibon (i.e.: African Vampires) are not Kindred
(i.e. western vampires). they re social structure and all that is
completely different. no overarching organizations. there are the
Guruhi for that position.

So, the first thing i thought when trying to come up with a way to work
laibon into the ccg was a way to represent that.

Laibon is a sect per-se, imho, with it s own sect politics and titles.
the titles are:

Magaji of XXXXX (insert location name here): woth 2 votes and similar
to prince/archbishop.
Kholo: woth 1 vote and similar to bishop/primogen.

then we have the legacies:

Akunanse: Abombwe, Animalism, Fortitude
*Gangrel Wanderers and Tale Spinners

Followers of Set: Presence, Obfuscate, Serpentis
*DUH!

Guruhi: Animalism, Potence, Presence
*the Guruhi are the Land. Nosferatu

Ishtarri: Celerity, Fortitude, Presence
*Toreador Redux, but in Africa, Fortitude is a must.

Kinyonyi: Animalism, Chimerstry, Fortitude
*Ravnos TRADERS, not thieves

Naglopers: Animalism, Auspex (Ebony Kingdom version), Vicissitude
(Ebony Kingdom)
*you think Tzimisce?? forget it... they re way more bestial... they do
not want to transcend their vampiric state, but rather revel in it.

Osebo: Auspex (Ebony Kingdom), Celerity, Potence
*Brujah without will

Shango: Celerity, Dur-An-Ki, Obfuscate
*Assamite Sorcerers

Xi Dundu: Dominate, Obtenebration, Potence
* Lasombra Without Shadows!!!!

Mla Watu: Auspex (Ebony Kingdom), Fortitude, Necromancy (Ebony Kingdom)

Nkulu Zao: Auspex (Ebony Kingdom), Fortitude, Obeah

So, my take on it is to take the clans already in the game (after all,
there is already a huge list...) and make things like Guruhi =
Nosferatu who belong to the Laibon Sect; Xi Dundu = Lasombra who belong to the Laibon Sect, etc etc etc.

But then again, now that i tihnk Bloodlines will be left to group 2
(except for the Baali, of course), some new clans to G4/5 might be
handy, as to not overcrowd the original ones, if they ever decide to do
this.

and then, we have the Ebony Kingdom version of several disciplines:

Auspex; Abombwe (can be considered Primitive Protean, even the KotEK
book says something in this lines); Dur-An-Ki; Necromancy; Vicissitude.

All of these have powers similar, but normally wilder, to those of the
western disciplines (exception made to Abombwe and Dur-An-Ki), so a
"Requires a Laibon Vampire" clause in the cards using those disciplines
would cut it well.

Abombwe and Dur-An-Ki are different than that cause even in KotEK is
stated that Abombwe can be learned by foreigners (and Gangrel have an
easier time with it, iirc. either that or akunanse had an easier time
learning protean), and Dur-An-Ki is a thaumaturgy of sorts (can be
found in Blood Sacrifice: The Thaumaturgy Companion, pg,33) that even a
few Tremere know about.

Daher wissen wir jetzt zumindest bei einer Handvoll der Karten, wie die Bilder aussehen, und wie die Karten (vielleicht) heissen werden...
