Capuchins Sonderfähigkeit

Die Frage kam beim Spiel in Bochum auf...

The Capuchin has this special ability: "If The Capuchin is burned move him to your uncontrolled region and get 3 transfers during your next influence phase."

Would this work if the Capuchin is being burned not from play, but from the uncontrolled region?

By default(*), special abilities - even passive special abilities - only function while vampires are in play. (Though they don't have to be ready, unless card text says otherwise.)

For example, Angelo's "look like any circle" special ability doesn't apply when he's not in play.

No. It can see the clan, capacity, Disciplines, sect, and
even the text of Angelo (or any other vampire), but that doesn't
mean Angelo's special applies when he's not in play. It sees Angelo's
circle as the circle it is, not the circle his special would allow
him to mimic.

(*) A special ability could be worded to function when out-of-play, by the Golden Rule of Cards.

Die Combo mit Malgorzatas Sonderfähigkeit wäre sowieso nicht anwendbar gewesen, wie ich bei genauem Nachsehen feststellte... stupid card text:

"Malgorzata may remove a vampire in your uncontrolled region from the game..."
